Authentication Flow Redesign

Challenge

Authentication issues negatively impacted the platform’s primary goal - gaining the trust of healthcare professionals. Many users relied on password recovery, drop-off remained high, and each issue reduced trust.

Reduce login friction to protect healthcare specialists’ trust and eliminate security risk from weak, reused passwords.

Delivered improvement

A single, predictable OTP flow

Solution

Consolidated authentication into a dedicated pop-up flow, replacing mixed modal and embedded login patterns. OTP became the primary method, with password login kept as a fallback.

Why this approach?

A single modal removed inconsistency and layout shifts. OTP removes password dependency entirely, giving returning doctors a faster path back to content while preserving password login as a fallback.
